The Riverside Cabin boasts a king-sized bed, large windows for an abundance of natural light, private kitchen fully-stocked with cookware, and the tranquil sounds of the nearby river. Double shower and bathroom units are just a few steps away, and shared with only one other cabin.

Rain or shine, the covered patio area is spacious and comfortable, affording a view of the lake from the door of the cottage. Chic and cozy, it feels as if it is tucked further away than the 5 minute walk to Tzununa town center!

  • You can expect to be absolutely delighted by the herbal wonderland, nestled in the quaint town of Tzununá, that is Casa Curativa. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind, cook delicious home meals supplemented with goodies from the garden, do yoga in a beautiful temple surrounded by lush greenery, explore the winding paths through forests of medicinal plants and trees growing either purposefully or voluntarily.

  • I had an amazing time at Casa Curativa, a secluded beautifully landscaped paradise which was everything I wanted and more. Flanked by huge, steep forested valley walls, the location in nature was spectacular and the outdoor kitchen and coziness of the room was incredible. The temazcal was the best I have seen, and with tranquil plunge pools right beside it was pure bliss.

  • We loved our stay at Casa Curativa. It’s a magical little garden oasis, complete with a charming pool perfect for cold dips after temazcal. The Zome Home was so unique. I loved waking up to the sound of birds and a little view of the lake right from our bedroom windows. And the town of Tzununá is the perfect, quiet getaway. Joel and Julia were very kind, responsive when we had questions, and gave us contacts for transportation. I loved visiting Julia’s impressive apothecary.

  • Casa Curativa is literally an inspirational dream come true. We stayed in the Riverside as well as the Zome Home and loved both for different reasons. The Zome Home is such an inspiration for what homes can be, with its thoughtful construction and woodwork. The herbal gardens labyrinth around the property and are so healing in so many ways.
